Two Youths drowned in Nethravathi River in Bantwal

Bantwal Apr 25, 2016: A tragic incident occurred when two youths drowned in Nethravathi River near Bastipadpu on April 24th.The deceased have been identified as Anas (18) and Asmani (20) who hails from New Delhi were carpenter by professional.

It is said that group of seven friends went to have bath in Nethravathi river where Anas and Asmani drowned in the river. Other members shouted for help but of no use, the duo lost their life.

Later locals pulled the dead bodies from the river and body was shifted to the Bantwal government for post portem. Bantwal town police station have registered the case.
