Tulu horror film ‘Gudada Bhuta’ shooting in May

Mangaluru, April 18, 2015: Addressing the media on  April 17, Friday, Sandeep Paniyur, producer-director of the Tulu film, ‘Gudada Bhuta’ produced by Sri Kateeleshwar Media said that  registering the title of the film was on and production will start in may 2015.

Gudada BhutaThe production was expected to cost Rs. 10 lakh, while the post-production was estimated to cost about Rs. 5 lakh.  The name and story of the film had nothing to do with a famous television serial of the same name, telecast over a decade ago, he clarified.

The film would go on the floors on May 1 and the shooting would conclude within the same month. Vinay Kumar Sorake, Urban Development Minister, would give the first shot (muhurta shot) for the film at the Sri Lakshmi Janardhan Temple in Kaup on April 19.   The film would be shot in Udupi, Kaup, Hejmady and Mulky. Dinesh Attavar would be the lead male actor of the film. The lead female actor was yet to be finalised.   An audition would be held to choose other actors for the film at the Vidyaniketan School in Kaup from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 19. B.S. Subash from Mumbai would score the music.  The film is expected to be released in July 2015.
