Tulu film ‘Dand’ release set for May 29, Friday

Mangaluru, May 26, 2015 :  Dand’  t he 57th Tulu film to be released in the region, is set to hit the theaters on May 29. Friday.   Produced by Sandhya Creations, the film was made in Mangaluru locations,  producer Shodhan Prasad said.

Addressing media on  May 25, Monday he said that the film will be released in theatres in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi initially.  Later, it will release in Mumbai, Bengaluru and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Producer Prasad, who had also produced ‘Nirel’, said that Arjun Kapikkad and Shilpa Suvarna were the lead actors in Dand. Ranjith Bajpe, director of ‘Nirel’, has directed this new film, which has a ‘U’ certificate. 

Prasad also  said the film contained good entertainment, romance also gives a social message regarding drug abuse and atrocities against women.  Other actors in the film include Sandeep Shetty, Anoop Sagar, Gopinath Bhat, Umesh Mijar and Subhash Bangera.  he said that  fans were eagerly awaiting the release.
