Truck rams into scooter killing woman rider at Kuntikana

Mangaluru, Nov 27, 2019: In tragic incident woman lost life as truck rammed into her two wheeler near Hotel BMS at Kuntikana on November 27, Wednesday.

The deceased is identified as Priya Suvarna (43), resident of Panjimogaru. She owned a beauty parlour. She is survived by husband and two children.

Sources said that Priya’s scooter was knocked down by a speeding truck from behind. Due to impact Priya fell off road was seriously injured and died on the spot. The truck driver sped away, was traced later. 
 
A case has been registered in Mangaluru(South) traffic police station.
