Truck rams auto with school children, 1 killed, 5 injured

Kasargod, Nov 22 2018: In a tragic mishap an auto driver was killed and five students were injured when a truck rammed into their auto rickshaw.

The deceased has been identified as Ansar(35)  of Periatadka. Anamika, Fatima Sayeeda, Rubina Mohammed, Siyan, K Asna, all of whom are aged six years, sustained injuries in the mishap and have been admitted to the hospital.

The accident took place when the truck laden with JCB machine rammed into the auto ferrying the school children at Kuni on the national highway.  Police registered a case.
