Trains cancelled or rescheduled due to landslide near Kuleshekar

Mangaluru, Aug 23 2019: A severe landslide near Kulshekar on Friday, August 23 has forced the railways to temporarily suspend or alter movement of trains on certain sectors. As a result a few trains are cancelled while others are postponed or diverted.

The following are the affected trains:

Netravati Express has stopped at Jokatte. It will return from there.

Matsyaganda has stopped at Suratkal. It will return to Mumbai from there.

 Mumbai-CST train has reached Suratkal and it will also return from there.

Goa-Mangaluru passenger train has stopped at Thokur.

Goa intercity has been cancelled.

Meanwhile work is in progress to clear the earth and debris blocking the railway track, following which regular services will be restored. For further information and updates, contact the railway authorities.
