Tourist car damaged in accidental fire at Kadri Kambla

 Mangalore, June 25, 2013 : A tourist car which was parked near Kadri Kambla in Mangalore on June 24, Monday caught fire accidentally resulting in substantial damage to the vehicle.

The Tata Indigo Tourist car belonged to one Ravindra of Pavoor who had returned after picking up his clients from the airport. He had parked his car near Kadri Kambla and  had left to drop his clients to their home as the path was not motorable. However, by the time he returned, he saw his car in flames.

 

 

 

The fire service department was soon  informed. But, even before the fire brigade could arrive,  the Kadri Guttu Water service tankers  had rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.

Kadri police have registered a case.
