Torchlight procession by Youth Congress in Mangaluru on Dec 09: Mithun Rai

Mangaluru, Nov 28, 2017 : The Dakshina kannada  Youth Congress to hold a  torchlight procession in Mangaluru on December 09, stressing on problems faced by people due to the inefficient government at the Centre.

 

Addressing the press on November 28, Youth Congress President Mithun Rai said that,the procession will begin  from Karavali Ustav  ground, Lalbagh to Bunts Hostel ground. Prior to this they  will organise a campaingn called "Bharatha Naraluthide"  to make aware that the BJP has completely failed to fulfil its poll promises. The deteriorating law and order situation and the financial hardships being faced by the people. Modi government has imposed economic anarchy through demonetisation and GST, he added.


He said that, KPCC President G Parameshwar, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister Ramanath Rai, Food and civil supplies Minister U T Khader, MLC Ivan D’Souza,J R Lobo and Mohiuddin Bava to take part in the procession.


Youth Congress Vice-President Lukman Bantwal,General secretary Sohail Kandak and others were present.
