Three meet watery grave in Shambavi river

Udupi, Jul 09, 2017 : In a gut wrenching tragedy , three persons who had been to swim in Shambavi river at Mattu drown on July 09, Sunday.

 

Mahesh, a resident of Mattu, Akshat from Ullal are the identified as the deceased but the identity of another  is not asceretained yet.


Sources say that  three friends had been to Shamabavi river  at Mattu in Mulky to swim as the river was flooded by rain, had been washed away by undercurrents.

Case has been registered in Mulky Police station. Search for the bodies is going on.
