Thousands visit Narahari, Karinja shrines on Aati Amavasye day

Bantwal, Aug 11, 2018: On the occasion of Aati Amavasye  thousands of devotees thronged the Narahari Shree Sadashiva Temple and Karinja Shree Karinjeshwara Temple and  felt blessed after a Theertha Snana in the lakes of the temples.

 

Devotees  lined up  to take a holy dip in the Shankha, Chakra, Gada, Padma lakes of Narahari Shrine. Even at Karinja temple, devotees offered Bagina to Karinja lake and took a holy dip before having darshan of the Lord.

There is a tradition of newly weds  visiting the two shrines on Aati Amavasye day and seeking blessings of the Lord.
