Thousands take part in "Save Water-Save Life" cycle rally

Mangaluru, Dec 10, 2017:Thousands of students enthusiastically took part in the  cycle rally organised with the theme "Save Water-Save Life" in the city on December 10, Sunday. The rally organised by Vijayavani and Digvijaya News was flagged off by former minister Krishna Palemar. The rally was sponsored by Vikas College.

The rally covering a distance of 22 kms commenced from near Ladyhill Circle and concluded at the Matha Amritanandamayi School at Bolur after passing through Kulur, Tannirbavi. People of all age groups too participated in the rally.

Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Vikas Education Trust Director Anantha Prabhu, Vijayavani Editor K N Chennegowda and others were present. A Netherland citizen Hasco too took part in the rally.

Seven lucky participants of the rally were gifted bicycles.
