Thotabengre assault case: 10 detained for questioning

Mangaluru, Feb 24, 2018: Over ten persons have been detained for interrogation in connection with the recent incident reported from Thotabengre   wherein a few youth were attacked while returning from the fishermen’s convention addressed by BJP Chief Amit Shah at Malpe.

Sources said  the bus  in which the youth were returning was attacked as the slogans raised by them had infuriated a few.

City Police Commissioner T R Suresh has said that all efforts would  be made to arrest the culprits responsible for the attack.
