Third attack case in city : Man stabbed at Kunjathbail

Mangaluru, Dec 9, 2014:  In yet another shocking attack, this time during broad daylight, a chicken trader was  stabbed by some unidentified miscreants   near Kunjathbail on December 8, Monday. This is the third such incident of attack reported from the city, the earlier two cases reported from Bunder and Bajpe on December 7, Sunday night.

The  name of  the victim is Sharief (38). It has been gathered that  two bike bound assailants stabbed  Sharief before fleeing. It is learnt, the duo managed to escape even when another person accompanying  Sharief tried to prevent them.


Sharief has been rushed to the hospital.  Senior police officials including DCP KV Jagadish and CCB Inspector Valentine D’Souza visited the spot of the crime.
