Thieves steal cash from MESCOM ATP Counter near Thokkottu

Mangaluru, Jan 12, 2020: Thieves who broke  into the MESCOM ATP Counter at Chembugudde in Thokkottu on January 11,  Saturday night have decamped with a cash of around Rs 70,000. The theft came to light  on Sunday morning.

The ATP counter is pertaining to the MESCOM sub-division office at Chembugudde. The door  of the ATP Counter has been broken open by the thieves.

It has been gathered that the ATP counter had a cash of over Rs 9 lakhs. Luckily the same was transferred to the office on Saturday afternoon itself. The remaining cash has now been stolen.

Ullal Police are investigating the case.
