Thieves steal bed sheet, towels, footwear along with valuables!

Mangaluru, Mar 05, 2019: In a queer case thieves who broke into an apartment at Morgansgate have stolen bed sheets, towels, lungi as well as footwear along with  other valuables.

The theft was reported from the residence of Gilbert Menezes. The theft came to light when Gilbert who  had been to Bengaluru returned home on March 3 evening.

Among other things the thieves had stolen case files relating to property, jewels, cash of Rs 30,000,  clothes worth Rs 35,000 two suitcase, umbrellas, cooking  items,  toiletries,  medicines etc.

The value of the stolen goods is estimated at Rs 2 lakh. A complaint has been lodged with Mangaluru City South (Pandeshwar) police.
