Thieves rob Elderly couple’s house in Manjeshwar

Kasaragod, Sep 09, 2016: Kumble police are trying to track down the thieves who robbed the elderly couple’s house at Kadambar in Mnajeshwar, on September 09, Friday early hours in the morning.

Ravidranath Shetty and Mahalaxmi couples are the victim who were been robbed. It is said that as they were asleep during the early hours, the robbers broke opened the back door entered into the house.  They heard a strange sound and woke up. It was shocking to see some masked men had entered the house. They threatened to kill them if they raised any alarm. They escaped with gold, cash, 2 mobile phones and a parked Ritz car. They immediately informed the matter to Kumble police station.

On information District police Chief Thomson Jose, Kumble Circle Inspector V.V Manoj reached the spot  along with Canine squad and fingerprint experts.

Investigations are underway.
