Thick fog delays landing of flights at MIA

Mangaluru, Nov 4, 2016 : Poor visibility due to fog  has delayed   landing of at least three flights at the Mangaluru International Airport on November 3, Thursday morning.

The Air India Express flight from Dubai which arrived at 6 am  could not land due to the  mist and left for Kozhikode only to return to Mangaluru later and  land safely at 8.30 am almost two and a half hours  behind the scheduled arrival time.

Similarly, the Jet Airways flight from Abu Dhabi which arrived at 7.30 am could not  land and  headed towards Bengaluru from where it returned at 9.40 am.  Meanwhile, the Bengaluru-Mangaluru Jet Airways flight  arrived one hour behind schedule at 9.20 am.
