Teenager killed as Container truck rams into two wheeler at Nanthoor

Mangaluru, Jul 28, 2017: A teenager  who was pillion on her father’s scooter was killed, when a container  truck hit their two-wheeler on July 27, Thursday evening at Nanthoor.

The deceased is identified as Bindu(17) resident of Konchaday, was pursuing her second-year PU at a private college in Mangaluru. Her father Maheshwarappa,escaped with minor injuries, is the Deputy Director of cooperative societies.


Bindu fell down from the two-wheeler and suffered severe head injuries. She was rushed to hospital but  was declared brought dead. Sources said that Bindu was their only daughter.

The accused driver Sarthaj Husain from UP was taken to custody. Case has been registered in Mangaluru East traffic police.
