Techie starts website to help SSLC students.

Sulia: August 12, 2015: It looks like home tuitions are taking a back seat. Thanks to internet and its many facets, anytime, anywhere education is gaining popularity. Today, students need not step out of their homes to learn a subject.

With Chatra.com, they can get coaching at their fingertips, anytime in anywhere. The site offers coaching for SSLC and CET students at a much affordable cost than the offline coaching centres.

This is the initiative of Shreemukha, 21, from Sullia, one of the youngest entrepreneurs of India. He is the founder of three companies: C.Key, butiStore.com and ChatraLive.com.

Shreemukha told TOI: "We are providing call centre 24X7 which will solve the problems/ doubts of students. Apart from this, we will soon offer mentorships to help students get rid of exam fear."

"This venture is not started with a motive to make profit, but to help students. There is a small one-time payment fee for three subjects in SSLC and four subjects of CET," he said.

How does this work

Students have to log in to the site and web controls allows the student to view a series of short videos on various subjects. "Based on his/her interest, they can continue to watch it or skip it. If they have queries, they can post it in the text box available and the teachers will call them back immediately with solutions. In case of multiple queries for a particular video, a fresh solution video will be uploaded," said Shreemukha. The students can also go back to videos of classes which they have missed and keep themselves updated.Our focus is on SSLC students in Karnataka, he said
