Teacher gets 7 yrs jail for sexually abusing student

Udupi, Feb 20, 2018:  A person named Vijay Vasu Poojary who was serving as  headmaster of a school at Trasi and was facing a POCSO case for  sexually abusing a girl student has been sentenced to  seven years of rigorous imprisonment by the Special POCSO Court of Udupi on February 19, Monday.

 

The incident was reported in 2014. The victim was a seventh standard student.
