Taxi men to protest against Ola cab services today

Mangaluru, July 3, 2015: A taxi rally and a protest march will be taken out by members of the  Dakshina Kannada Taximen and Maxicab  Association in the city on July 3, Friday  to oppose the mobile app based Ola taxi service operations.

Monappa Bhandary, President of the Association accused Ola of not following the Motor Vehicle rules and added that the commencement of Ola services has affected the earnings of several taxi drivers.

The protest will be held in association with Mangaluru Travel Agents Association and Airport Tourist and Taxi Drivers Association.
