Taxi driver murder case : 2 more accused behind bars

 Mangaluru, March 5, 2016 : Konaje police who are investigating into the taxi driver  V A Ismail case have arrested two more accused in the case.  The second wife of the deceased, her paramour and  another person have already been apprehended for eliminating Ismail, a resident of Dedinje near Pavoor  Innoli.

Those arrested of late are Shabbir alias Shabbi of Boliyar and Munna alias Munaf. The latter is said to be a contract killer.

Other three arrested earlier are Nabisa, Jamal Ahmed Kuttar, her paramour and Rahiman alias Riyaz Ullal.

It has been gathered that Nabisa and her  paramour had hired  the other three to eliminate Ismail and they had murdered him after hiring his car on February 16.

The car was found in an abandoned state at Neerakatte  the next day.

Of the two arrested, Munaf had surrendered on March 3, while Shabbir was arrested the next day. Munaf who was an accused in the  Vinayak murder case of Kotepura  was out on bail just a few days ago.
