Tanveer Sait inaugurates Minorities Bhavan at Pandeshwar

Mangaluru Oct 31, 2016: Minister for Minority Welfare and Wakf Tanveer Sait inaugurated Minorities Bhavan at Pandeshwar on Sunday October 30th. This three storey building is constructed at a cost of Rs 2.36 crores.

Addressing the gathering Tanveer Sait said that, this bhavan will definately become the bridge between Minorities and government. Soon information centre will be formed in all minorities bhavan in Karnataka which will help the minorities to avail information about the welfare schemes.

This bhavan is third one in entire Karnataka, two other Minorities Bhavan is functioning in Bagalkote and Kodagu districts, said Tanveer.

He also said that, minorities should utilize the schemes provided by the  government and should not be ignorant about the schemes.

Speaking about the misappropriation of Wakf Properties he said that, stringent action will be taken against the wrongdoers. Survey of wakf property is under process and those who misuse the property will not be bared.

District In Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai informed various schemes which was enforced for minorities by the government. As many as 73 hostels have been constructed for backward classes and we are looking forward more applications for vidya siri programs.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister UT Khader, MLA’S JR Lobo, Mohiudeen Bhava and others were present.
