Talent Research Foundation confers awards to foster communal harmony

Mangalore, Mar 20: The Talent Research Foundation conferred the Talent Milad Awards 2011 on 84 achievers at a special awards ceremony held at Town Hall on March 20, Sunday.

The foundation presented awards to people from Hindu, Christian, as well as Muslim communities to foster communal harmony and understanding. Some of the awards include Best Lineman, Best Traffic Police, Best Constructor, Best Postman, and Best Mechanic, to mention just a few. The awards have been conferred in recognition of the excellent service of the winners.

The guests of honor were Eric Ozerio, the gurkaar of Mandd Sobhann; Janab Y. Abdulla Kunhi, the chancellor of Yenepoya University Mangalore; Dayanand Pai, the managing director of Century Group Bangalore; Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, the president of the Federation of World Bunts Association; and Mangalore MLA U. T. Khader.
