Tahsildar office staff trapped red handed by ACB

Mangaluru, Jan 05, 2021:     A Second Division Assistant at the Mangaluru Tahsildar office was trapped red handed by the ACB officials while he was accepting bribe from a person.

 

The  staffer named Rafiq Abdul (42) has been arrested. It is learnt, he had placed a demand for Rs 40,000 to get some  work done. The person concerned had  complained about this with the ACB. The man handed over the  cash to the  accused as per the instructions of the ACB and  the latter was subsequently arrested.
