T R Suresh Kumar takes charge as City Police Commissioner

Mangaluru, June 18, 2018:  T R Suresh has once again  assumed office as the City Police Commissioner. He took charge from outgoing Commissioner Vipul Kumar on June 18, Monday. Suresh was transferred  from Mangaluru ahead of the recent Assembly elections.

 Speaking to reporters later, the outgoing Police Commissioner Vipul Kumar had a word of praise for Mangalureans and described them as peace loving people. Though Mangaluru   is widely  believed to be a communally sensitive area,  by and large the people here are  peace lovers.  It is because of a handful of disruptive forces that Mangaluru has got disrepute, he regretted.
