Swimming competition for kids held in city

Mangalore, May 1, 2012 : Jai Hind Swimming Club, Mangalore Aquatic Club, and Mangala Swimming Club is jointly organizing a swimming competition in the Mangala Stadium swimming pool on May 1 Tuesday.

 

 

 

 

The competition comprises 66 events, classified into categories according to age of participants. Around 150 students from schools all over the district are participating in this event.

There were four groups of kids between the ages of eight and sixteen and a separate group was formed for toddlers.

Swimming competitions were held in free style, butterfly style, and breast stroke styles.

This event is being held annually for kids since 1992.
