Swavalambi Santhe- promoting organic, home-made products

Mangaluru, Jan 05, 2015:  A good number of people attended the Swavalambi Santhe, the fourth such event to be held in the recent times with the objective of popularising and encouraging people to go in for organic produces as well as home-made products.

 

 

 

The fourth Swavalambi Santhe was held at Swami Kripa, Kadri Kambala on January 4, Sunday under the aegis of Savayava Krishika Grahaka Balaga, Mangaluru. As many as 30 sellers displayed home made products at the Santhe.

The organic vegetables  which were kept for sale were sold off  very soon while there were also pickles, juices, sambar powder, jaggery etc for sale.

The Balaga has been organising organic vegetables market   in front of Sahitya Kendra off PM Rao Road on two  Sundays of every month. The vegetable shandy will next be held on January 11 and 25.
