Swarna catchment waters have reached Mane Bridge

Udupi, July 09, 2017: Reports confirm that water from the catchment area reached Mane Bridge after crossing Shiroor village, where the second stage dam across the Swarna is located, on June 8, Thursday.

D. Manjunathaiah, Udupi CMC Commissioner, said that it would require at least two days for the water to reach Baje Dam from where water is supplied to Udupi city.

In the meanwhile it is confirmed that Udupi district administration has set up a 24 x 7 Control Room in the light of monsoon having entered Udupi district.
