Suspected case of suicide: Couple found dead in house

Kasargod, July 29, 2014:  In a suspected case of suicide, a couple were found dead in their house at Balavantadka near Delampady on July 28, Monday.

The deceased are Narayana Naik (58) and Geetha (53). The suicide theory gains grounds as a bottle of poison was also found in the room where the couple were found dead.

Police however state that the post-mortem would reveal the cause of the death. The couple lived on their own in the house. The couple has a son and three daughters. If their two daughters are married off, their son and a daughter stayed in an uncle’s house in the same area.

Investigations are underway.
