Mangaluru, April 7, 2016: According to a media release,  department of Food Science and Technology of St Aloysius College is organizing an innovative summer camp for high school and PUC students (Age group15-18) on April 15-16. The aim of this camp is to create academic, social and physical fitness-health awareness among students through various indoor as well as outdoor sessions.

The programme includes both theory and practical inputs in Basics in Food Processing, Health and Hygiene, physical fitness, Waste management, Biodiversity etc. The frame work of the program involves various aspects of personality development and team building through creative sessions.

 Smt. P.I. Sreevidya, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, D.K.District, Mangaluru would be the chief guest for the inaugural function and Prof KV Rao, Director, Pilikula Regional Science Centre, will be the guest of honour. Fr Swebert D’ Silva SJ, the principal of the College would preside over the programme.
