Sullia woman succumbs to Covid-19 ; DK tally rises to 20

Sullia, July 04, 2020:   An elderly  woman from Keremoole in Sullia Taluk who died of a heart attack on July 4, Saturday, has tested positive for Covid-19 taking the Covid-19 death toll in the district to 20.

 

The woman was undergoing treatment at a hospital in  Mangaluru. Even a nurse who was treating the woman has tested positive.  Though the throat swab of the elderly woman was taken while she was alive, she had breathed her last by the time the report  arrived.

Even an elderly man who was admitted in the same ward  where the woman was receiving treatment, has tested positive for Covid-19.
