Sullia: POCSO cases booked against two, juvenile arrested

Sullia, January 15, 2016: Sullia police has booked two cases under sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) 2012 and arrested one person on Friday, January 15th, 2016.

Sections of POCSO invoked against accused for sexually assaulting under aged girls and one of the accused is juvenile.

One Shihab (40) of Jattipalla has been arrested for harassing a PU college student. Two weeks ago, while returning from college the accused sexually assaulted her. After family members came to know the heinous crime and girls parent mustered courage to register a case. The accused has been absconding.
 
In another incident, a boy molested his own cousin. He has been arrested.
