Sullia: 19 year old youth goes missing, religious conversion suspected

Sullia Sep 9, 2016: A youngster went missing from Paladka near Arambur ever since September 7. It is suspected that he has undergone religious conversion.


 goes missingSon of Janardhana Gowda, Deekshith (19) went missing from September 7, in the recent case Sathish Acharya (25) from Mandekolu having been converted in to Islam, for which protest had erupted in the village and also Deekshith also suspected for the same.

 It is said that, four months back Deekshith had travelled to Kozhikode for training in private institution. His family members suspected some changes after he returned from training. Janardhan Gowda raised question on his behavioural changes and saw Deekshit was in a pose resembling Namaz. Gowda was frustrated and slapped Deekshith, even after questioning Deekshith walked away from the house.

 
The family searched for him all over after long wait. Deekshith called from co-passengers cell and informed that he is searching for job and would return within a week. On next day he informed that he is in Chennai, but the family found that the cell phone he spoke was in Tirur, Kerala which turned in to suspicious.
 

Janardhana Gowda filed a complaint and investigation is on.
