Sudana Residential School wins first prize in state level drama competition

Puttur, Nov 29,  2012 : Sudana Residential School won the first prize in the state level science drama competition organized at Maharani Government DEd College in Mysore on Nov 27, Tuesday. Their play Uttara has been selected for the South India level competition.

 

monesh 1Mounesh Vishwakarma, a photojournalist with Daijiworld, directed this play and Kavitha Addur created it.

The students who played various roles in the play were Swara Bharavi Ulaya of Std. VIII, Gautham Chaintany of Std. IX, Namratha of Std. VIII, Amoga Varsha of Std. VIII, Deeksha P. M. of Std. VIII, Thilak Nidhi of Std. IX, Agamya Jattanna of Std. IX, and Nasiha of Std. VIII.

The teachers who guided them were Gayathri, Prathima, and Vijay Harvin.

The public education department, state education research and training department of Bangalore, and the government teachers’ education university of Mysore organized this competition.

The best four teams of the division-level competition took part in the state level competition. Sudana School has now qualified to take part in the South India level competition, which will be held in Bangalore on Dec 12 – 14.
