Study tour for Auto, Taxi drivers by Konkan Rail

Mangaluru, Feb 15, 2017: Reports state that as per the directives of Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited organised a one day study tour on tourism for Autorickshaw and Taxi drivers of Mulky Railway Station and surrounding area drivers. 

More than 50 taxi /autorickshaw drivers actively participated in this study tour. This is the second study tour organised in Karnataka by Konkan Railway. Similar type of study tour was organized for taxi /auto rickshaw drivers of Udupi Railway Station on December 24, 2016 and December 28, 2016. Similar programs were organised by Konkan Railway for taxi / auto rickshaw drivers of Madgaon Railway station.

During the study tour all important tourist places of Moodbidri, Karkala and Mulky were visited and explained in detail by Umesh Karkera, tourist guide, tourism department Governmentof Karnataka, Mangaluru. This study tour was organised by K. Sudha Krishnamurthy, Manager Public Relations, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, Mangaluru.
