Students hurt as tree branch falls

Bantwal, Sep 27, 2014:  In a tragic incident, two students of sixth standard were seriously injured when a huge branch of  a tree fell on them, at the Netrakere government school in Thumbay on September 25.

The injured are Hasanabba, son of Abdul Lathif, a resident of Kodman and Yathish, son of Parameshwar Poojary, a resident of Kallige. The duo have been kept in hospital in Mangalore for treatment. They were reading under the tree when the branch fell on them. Another student Naseema has suffered bruises.
