Student dies in road mishap in Bantwal

Bantwal, June 3, 2015: A 24-year-old engineering student died on spot in a road mishap at Bantwal on June 3 Wednesday.

The deceased identified as Dhanush Poojary, a resident of Keddalike near Bantwal. He was returning home after visiting his relative’s home in a bike and truck knocked down him and his bike. Seriously injured Dhanush died on spot.

 

 

 

The eye witness said that when he reached Madhwa in Kavalakatta, he was hit head-on by a lorry plying from opposite direction.

He was second year student in Vivekanada college, Puttur and only son of Nithyananda Poojary couple. His mother works as an assistant teacher at Ramakrishna School here.

A case has been registered at Bantwal Traffic police station.
