Student dies in accident

Mangaluru, Dec 09, 2014: A 20-year medical student from Chennai died following a motorcycle accident in Kuthar on the outskirts of Mangaluru on Monday.

 

 

Saravanan U. was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his classmate Salman P.K. The students of Yenepoya Medical College were on their way to class from their hostel.

As the motorcyclist was trying to overtake a car, the two-wheeler was hit by an approaching truck.

The duo were thrown off. Saravanan succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

He was a resident of Mullai Nagar in Anna Nagar (West).
