Student commits suicide said was depressed over poor marks

Mangaluru, Dec 07, 2019:   A 19-year-old student of Government First Grade College was found hanging from a tree near his house in Uppinangady on December 6, Friday.

The student was identified as Pratham Konde. Pratham’s father Nabhiraj Jain from Maramani near Thekkaru village in Beltangady taluk suspected that his son who was depressed over his poor performance in the just concluded examinations decided to commit suicide, according to police sources.  Investigations are on going.
