Stray dog with plastic bottle stuck on head finally rescued

Udupi, Nov 30, 2017: A stray dog which was in a helpless state since the past eight days after its head got stuck inside a plastic bottle, has been finally rescued by social activists at Olakadu in the town on November 30, Thursday.

The condition of the dog  had worsened as it was without food or water since the past few days. On gathering information about its plight, social activist Nityananda Olakadu was trying to trap the dog since the past one week, but had failed in his attempt every time.

But on Thursday, the dog which was very week was easily captured. Later,  Nityanand and his associates  removed the  plastic bottle from the dog’s head. The poor animal which felt greatly relieved, soon vanished from the place.
