Stone pelting on buses: Cops arrest 3 accused

Bantwal, June 27, 2019: Police have arrested three persons in connection with the stoning of a few buses in Puttur and Vittal police station limits on June 25. Meanwhile, police have launched a search for a few others who are also wanted in this case.

 

A few KSRTC and  private buses were stoned by a group of miscreants  resulting in damage to the buses and injury to five persons including two bus drivers and three female students.

Police had registered nine cases in connection with the incidents and  special teams were formed to nab the culprits.

Those arrested are Punith (20) from Karyady, Guruprasad (20) from Mangalapadavu and Kiranraj (24) of Kepu village.
