State level Special Olympics inaugurated at Mangala Stadium

Mangaluru, Nov 27, 2018: A state level Special Olympics   was inaugurated at Mangala Stadium in the city on November 27, Tuesday by K Devadas Bhandari,  Governor of Lions District 317 D. The event is jointly organised by Karnataka’s  Special Olympics Bharath, and Lions Club. As many as 450 sports persons from special schools  from various parts of the state have arrived along with nearly 100 coaches  for this event, informed Bhandari.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lion Vishwanath Shetty presided over the function. Special children presented an attractive march past on the occasion.  Nearly 20 teams from different districts participated in the march past.
