Udupi Diocese Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo said the sincere heart and Prayers would lead to peace and harmony with the real meaning of spirituality. He said contracting churches and temple with stones and clay would not be sufficient, instead the atmospheres in the religious hubs should endorse humanity and unity. Religious and spiritual sanctity is possible only when religious structures turn out to be the lively and humane family, he said, adding the service for lord is nothing but the service to the destitute. The affluent should support the underprivileged to lead a dignified life in the society. It is the true devotion. The gap between haves and have not should be lessened, he added.

After performing the solemn inaugural thanks giving mass Mangalore Diocese Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza said the community should be role model to others in terms of sacrifice and love.

Eucharistic Mass was held on the occasion. Bishop of Jaipur Dr Oswald Lewis opened the main door and offered blessing. Former parish priests, assistants, secretaries, donors were felicitated.
