State government has largest number of corrupt ministers - M G Hegde

Mangalore, Oct 13: M. G. Hegde, member of DK youth Congress said during a protest held in front of the DC office on Oct 13, Wednesday that the present BJP-led state government has not kept a single promise it made to farmers. He added that the present government has gone down in the annals of history for having the largest number of corrupt ministers.

Listing out the faults of the present state government, he said that a number of workers consumed cheap alcohol and died as soon as the BJP government came to power, in spite of which the culprits have still not been arrested. Criticizing CM B. S. Yeddyurappa, he said that the CM has done nothing but apologize to reporters, appoint a large number of corrupt ministers, and weep in front of the media.


Attacking Speaker H. G. Bopaiah, he said that the speaker is equally to blame because of his recent attempts to hide the crimes of the CM. Even the CM’s wife and son are to be blamed, he alleged.


Congress leader Ivan D’Souza said that the BJP is all set to create Ravana Rajya in the state. Pointing out that state-level bundhs were called at least 10 times after the BJP came to power, he said that the BJP government is in crisis for the third time in two years.
