Mangaluru June 2, 2016: Members of the Karnataka State Employees Association have  boycotted work and have gone on mass leave on June 2, Thursday  in protest against the failure of the government to fulfill  the long pending demands including  implementation of the seventh pay commission recommendation.

Speaking to the media persons, District President of Karnataka State Employees Association Prakash Naik said that  the  disparity in the salaries of Central and State government employees  has saddened the  latter. "Newly appointed employees quit the job due to heavy work load. Karnataka government has not taken any decision in implementing pay scales on  par with central government employees," he added.


Prakash Naik also hoped that higher authorities would come up with alternative measures to seek justice for the government employees.
