State Govt biased in Sharath’s murder probe : Hindu organisations

Mangaluru, July 24,2017:It is reported that at a convention held at Sangha Nikethan on July 23, Sunday, leaders from the Hindu outfits criticised the state government for being biased in the Sharat Madiwala investigation. They also demanded withdrawal of cases filed against Hindu leaders Sharan Pumpwell, Satyajith Surathkal, Muralikrishna Hasanthadka, Harish Poonja and Pradeep Pumpwell.  Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal passed a resolution against the state government, claiming that the government has taken an anti-Hindu move during the recent communal incidents in Kalladka.

A postcard campaign was also launched to a start during the programme. The members of VHP and Bajrang Dal wrote to the Governor of Karnataka against the anti-Hindu policies of the state government.

Addressing the VHP and Bajrang Dal members on the occasion, VHP district president Jagadeesh Shenava said District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai has been visiting temples, churches and mosques, praying for the arrest of the accused in Sharat Madiwala’s murder case. The act of Rai is an eye-washer. The Police Department, on the instructions of Rai, has been fostering false cases against Hindu outfit leaders, said Shenava.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Prant working president Prof M B Puranik said the chief minister is concerned only about securing his seat. The state government is conspiring to divide the Hindu community. The concerned have turned a blind eye towards the illegal transport of cattle. The oppression of Hindus in the state should stop, he demanded.

Tributes were offered to Sharat Madiwala on the occasion.

RSS leaders Raghu Sakaleshpur, Na Seetharam, VHP leaders Krishnamurthy, Gopal Kuttar and Bhujanga Kulal were present.
