State Congress Convention to highlight ’failures’ of Modi Govt

Mangaluru Feb 2, 2016: Interim president of DK Congress Ibrahim Kodijaal said that, Karnataka Congress Convention will be organized on Feb 6 at Mysore and One lakh party workers from all over Karnataka are expected to participate in this convention.

DK CongressSpeaking to the press at the District Congress office here on  February 2, Tuesday he said that the objective of the  convention was to  create an awareness among the people regarding the failure of the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the success of the Congress government in the state.

Referring to the Modi quote “Acche din Ayenge”  (Good days will arrive). Kodijal said except for  the rich industrialists none of the farmers, SC ST caste people or  workers are going through good days. The Modi led Union Government has  failed to keep up the promises made to the people, in the past one and a half years.

Referring to the upcoming Zilla and Taluk Panchayat  elections, he said the  candidate selection process  has been successfully completed and exuded  confidence of a Congress win in the elections.

Shashidhar Hegde, Ashraf, former mayors, Padmanabha, TK Sudhir, Nazeer Bajal and others were present.
