State BJP Kisan Morcha urges government to prioritize farmer’s demands

Mangaluru July 18, 2016: State BJP Kisan Morcha Vice President  Shantha Veerappa Gowda urges union government to prioritize the demands of the farmers.

Addressing to the press meet at BJP office today July 18 Monday he said that, today farmers in remote areas are facing nightmares after steep fall in the price in rubber, coconut and arecanut has made way to the farmers to end their lives.

He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojana but it is necessary that this scheme should reach out to every beneficiaries in remote areas, government should initiate in doing so. 

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojana has helped the farmers to get 25% compensation within 15 days after the loss of crops in natural calamities. There is a steep fall in the production rate of the organic farm has boosted the farmers to cultivate in large.
