Sri Ramananda Swamiji of Shree Kshetra Kolya no more

Mangaluru, May 23, 2016: Sri Ramananda Swamiji of Kolya Shree Mookambika Mutt, has passed away at a private hospital in the city on May 23, Monday. He was 66 and ailing since some time. Sri Ramananda Swamiji was known for his philanthropic activities.

The Swamiji  was undergoing treatment at a private hospital since  nearly one and a half months as he was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.

Hailing from Badiadka in Kasargod district, he  did his schooling at the Sri Durga Parameshwari School at Agalpady.  He had even worked as a bus conductor for some time  during his early days.

The Swamiji has left behind a large number of followers.
